Great food, great service, nice ambience. I visited this place for my birthday dinner and was completely worth the visit! The restaurant offers a lot of traditional Mediterranean classics but they have been taken up by a notch (or two). The food is simply brilliant and the staff is quite warm and welcoming. The food menu maybe limiting for some, but the quality of the dishes more than makes up for it. I would highly recommend the coal fired mushroom hummus. They also have a very extensive wine list. The restaurant also provides you with a small "dictionary" which provides you details of some ingredients that you might not be familiar with and I found this to be a very nice touch. The ambience is quite nice, it isnt super loud as some of the other restaurants I have been to in the DC area, which I find appealing. Would love to visit again.

My visit to Albi DC was a culinary delight, particularly due to their exceptional tasting menu. The warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant set the perfect stage for the evening. The tasting menu was a splendid showcase of Middle Eastern cuisine, with each dish artfully crafted and exploding with unique flavors. Highlights for me were the sumac-spiced lamb shoulder, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. The service at Albi DC, especially from our waiter JR, was outstanding. JR's knowledge of the tasting menu and his passion for the cuisine were evident. He guided us through each course with insightful recommendations tailored to our tastes, making the experience highly personal and enjoyable. His attentive and thoughtful service truly elevated our dining experience, making our visit to Albi DC an unforgettable one.

Outstanding dining experience, one of my favorites this year. Loved the open and roomy feel of the restaurant and the menu has a great variety of options. We enjoyed basically everything we tried, especially the goat hummus, lamb medallions, and the squash! Hope to come back again as the menu changes seasonally. A little expensive but great quality of food and service.

I would give 10 stars if possible. This is one of the most amazing dining experience in the past one year. Needless to say that the food was amazing and cooked to its perfection, but what I truly got amazed was the cozy, inviting atmosphere and the service they provided. All the waiters were so professional at introducing the dishes, and they did it in a way that they appeared to be enjoying their work. Definitely bring your guest here for important occasions!

We had the full tasting menu with wine pairing. Every course was amazing and the seasoned staff was a pleasant. Every course was explained and the wines served complimented the flavor of the food. We are definitely looking forward to our next visit. I would highly recommend this restaurant

The place is very cozy and very classic. I love how the kichen was open as you can see show or culinary arts. The food was amazing and delicious as you can see them cooking. Every single plate was made with love and caring inside that kichen and their skills shows how they made it. First we sat by the corner of the bar and we had to change in the middle of the bar. The bartender’s Alex and Olivia was so nice and they take good care of us. The severs was kinda ok as they bring the food they should have explained to us very well. They kinda shy and drop the food leave, I would say they should be able to explain more. The host girls was also need more communication as we had to find place to seat because we didn’t had reservations I would say less about it. But over all the bartenders was so nice and got us different drinks to try and they are skillful. Top notch restaurant and I would say by far the best restaurant in the entire country for me. This is for sure one of the best in my list, so far number one restaurant. I would recommend to anyone who’s looking for too Michellen restaurant. Kudos to Albi staff they made us feel like family. Thanks!

We had a really wonderful experience. The food was phenomenal. My husband and I got the sofreh so we could try a bit of all the things. It was super tasty. Our server was very attentive and nice. When we came in the hostess was a little off putting. I was also sad they didn’t mention or do anything extra given that it was my birthday and I had emailed them prior to let them know and told them my dietary restrictions as well. It seemed like the info wasn’t shared. That’s why I gave the service 4 stars out of 5. Other than that we loved the wait staff and how they explained every dish, they also made sure our table was clean after every course. The food was amazing and if you get the sofreh you will super full. Highly recommend.

Wow this place is hard to snag reservations on weekends—finally was able to secure Friday evening reservations for 2! Arrived a bit early so we grabbed a drink at the bar—the Za’atar-Tini (vodka) and The Stronghold (bourbon) were tasty, we enjoyed it! Food was delicious, everything was well-flavored and huge portion! For appetizers, would recommend the Pita + MD Crab & Hummus and the Yellowfin Tuna. For entrees, we liked the BBQ’d Warak Dawali, BBQ’d Lamb Kebob and Duck + Foie Kefta. The only dish that was a bit unreasonably priced was the BBQ’d Lamb Kebob, for $82, which was overpriced for that dish—good but not enough to make it worth getting. Service was fantastic! Our server Jay-arr was great—friendly and attentive! Food came out fairly quick too. One thing to be aware, is the food menus can be a bit confusing with terms the average person doesn’t come across—they provide a little dictionary card to help, but it’s still frustrating to keep looking back and forth from the menu and card.
